ABC Grows in the Monday-Friday 10 O'clock Hour November-to-November

November 2009 (25 of 28 Nights):

ABC is currently the No. 2 network in November among Adults 18-49 (3.1/9), behind only a World Series-inflated Fox. Overtaking Fox in key Women, ABC is the No. 1 network for November with Women 18-34 (3.3/10) and Women 18-49 (3.9/10). In fact excluding sports, to level the playing field for the boosts that the other nets garner from professional sports (NFL games and overruns/World Series), ABC (3.4/9) is pacing a definitive No. 1 for the '09 November Sweep, outdelivering No. 2 CBS by 17% (2.9/8), No. 3 Fox by 42% (2.4/6) and No. 4 NBC by 70% (2.0/6).

Series Rankings: In Adults 18-49, ABC aired the Top 2 scripted series during the 2009 November Sweep, with "Grey's Anatomy" No. 1 and "Desperate Housewives" No. 2. ABC placed 4 of TV's Top 10 most-watched series overall in November: "Dancing with the Stars" No. 3, "DWTS Results" No. 6, "Grey's Anatomy" No. 8 and "Desperate Housewives" No. 9. Between "Grey's Anatomy," "Desperate Housewives" and "Private Practice," ABC placed the Top 3 TV series of the sweep with Women 18-49. ABC's "V" and "Modern Family" registered as the Top 2 freshman series during November in Adults 18-49.

10 o'clock Hour (M-F Live + Same Day): During November, ABC is up in the 10 o'clock hour during the week in both Total Viewers (+11% - 8.3 million vs. 7.5 million) and Adults 18-49 (+14% - 2.5/7 vs. 2.2/6).
