LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- "The Jake Effect," NBC's produced-but-never-aired comedy from the 2002-03 season, has found a new home: Bravo.

The cable channel is set to broadcast all seven episodes of the series, which starred Greg Grunberg ("Alias"), Jason Bateman ("Arrested Development") and Nikki Cox ("Las Vegas"). The single-camera comedy revolved around two competitive best friends - Nick Case (Grunberg) and Jake Galvin (Bateman) - the latter of whom quits his job as a corporate lawyer to become a teacher.

Episodes 1-6 will air Thursday, May 25 starting at 8:00/7:00c with the final installment due to run at 5:30 AM EST that Friday night/Saturday morning.

Patricia Belcher ("Twins"), Kyle Gass ("Tenacious D") and Leslie Grossman ("What I Like About You") also starred in the then NBC Studios-based half-hour, which came from executive producers Jonathan Groff and Vic Kaplan. Marc Buckland ("My Name Is Earl") directed the pilot.

Meanwhile in other cable news, HBO is moving forward with "sexLIFE," a new dramedy about three couples with intimacy issues.

Adam Scott ("Monster-in-Law"), Ally Walker ("Sleeper Cell"), Luke Kirby ("Slings and Arrows"), Sonya Walger ("Sleeper Cell") and Tim DeKay ("My Name Is Earl") all star in the one-hour project, which comes from creator Cynthia Mort ("Will & Grace"), director Patricia Rozema ("Mansfield Park") and Pariah's Gavin Polone.

The number of episodes however has yet to be determined.
