BLOODLINES (NBC/Universal; W: David Graziano; D: Peter Berg) - The network is not moving forward with the drama pilot, about Bird Benson (Skyler Samuels), a smart, irreverent and strong young girl who finds herself caught in the middle of an epic struggle between two warrior families. Also starring in the project were Chris Zylka, Jonathan Banks, KaDee Strickland, Tom Everett Scott and Tzi Ma. (Deadline.com)
GATES, THE (NBC/20th; W: Cathy Yuspa & Josh Goldsmith; D: Marc Buckland) - The ensemble comedy - about the hijinks that ensue when parents drop off and pick up their kids at school each day - won't be getting a series order at the Peacock. The single-camera project, based on the U.K. series of the same name, featured Christina Kirk, Diana Maria Riva, Echo Kellum, Greg Germann, John Grisetti, Kathleen Rose Perkins, Ken Marino and Stephen Guarino. HATFIELDS & MCCOYS, THE (NBC/ABC Studios; W: John Glenn; D: Michael Mayer) - The drama - in which a startling death re-ignites the feud between the legendary families in present day Pittsburgh - likewise has been passed on by the network. Annie Ilonzeh, James Remar, Jesse Lee Soffer, Nick Westrate, Patrick Flueger, Rebecca De Mornay, Sophia Bush and Virginia Madsen all starred in the project, which also featured Charlize Theron among the executive producers. HOLDING PATTERNS (NBC/Universal; W: Justin Spitzer; D: Scott Ellis) - The network has passed on the multi-camera comedy pilot, about a group of friends whose lives completely change after they survive a plane crash on their way to a destination wedding. The show's ensemble cast included Erinn Hayes, Humphrey Ker, Kate Lang Johnson, Luka Jones, Nelson Franklin and Oscar Nunez. Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan also served as executive producers. JOE & JOE & JANE (NBC/20th; W: Joe Port & Joe Wiseman; D: Mark Cendrowski) - The multi-camera comedy - about Joe Waxman (Will Greenberg), a conflict-avoidant children's book author caught in an ongoing tug of war between his wife, Jane (Sally Pressman), and co-author/best friend, Joe Dougan (Dave Annable) - likewise isn't moving forward to series. SECRET LIVES OF HUSBANDS AND WIVES, THE (NBC/Warner Bros.; W: Sascha Penn; D: Mark Pellington) - The Peacock's small screen take on Josie Brown's book of the same name won't be receiving a series commitment. James Tupper, Jesse L. Martin, Laura Allen, Martin Henderson, Nicole Ari Parker, Olivia Luccardi and Perrey Reeves starred in the Jerry Bruckheimer Television-produced hour, about the secrets and lies of three suburban California couples that are exposed in the aftermath of a murder. SIXTH GUN, THE (NBC/Universal; W: Ryan Condal; D: Jeffrey Reiner) - The network has passed on the drama pilot, based on the Oni Press comic book about Becky Montcrief (Laura Ramsey), an innocent girl swept up in the struggle over six mythical guns in the Old West. Carlton Cuse was among the executive producers on the hour, which also starred Aldis Hodge, Chin Han, Elena Satine, Graham McTavish, James LeGros, Michiel Huisman, Pedro Pascal and W. Earl Brown.
