Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, FOX & NBC All Share Top Demo Spot

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/10/16):

NBC (7.670 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T1) was the most-watched network on Wednesday thanks to new episodes of "The Mysteries of Laura" (7.050 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #13), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (7.692 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T5) and "Chicago PD" (8.269 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T3).

FOX (6.776 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T1) then shared in the demo honors with originals from "American Idol" (9.099 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #2) and "Hell's Kitchen" (4.453 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T11).

Next up was ABC (5.559 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T1) with its mix of "The Middle" (6.793 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T7), "The Goldbergs" (6.152 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T3), "Modern Family" (7.714 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1), "Black-ish" (6.035 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T5) and "American Crime" (3.330 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T14).

Meanwhile, CBS (7.508 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #4) offered up its Thursday-bound "2 Broke Girls" (6.410 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T9), its hiatus-bound "Mike & Molly" (6.636 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T9) and new episodes from "Criminal Minds" (8.893 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T7) and "Code Black" (7.108 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T11).

And finally, new episodes of "Arrow" (2.446 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T14) and "Supernatural" (1.855 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.8, #16) on The CW (2.150 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #5) closed out the night.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (2/11/15):

FOX (11.157 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.7, #1) was the network to beat on Wednesday with its duo of "American Idol" (10.397 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.7, #3) and "Empire" (11.917 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.7, #1).

ABC (6.988 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #2) then claimed the silver with its mix of "The Middle" (7.909 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.1, #6), "The Goldbergs" (6.948 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.3, #4), "Modern Family" (9.798 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.3, #2), "Black-ish" (6.932 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.2, #5) and "Nashville" (5.171 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T9).

Meanwhile, NBC (6.201 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4) served up originals from "The Mysteries of Laura" (5.952 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.1, #13), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (6.169 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T9) and "Chicago PD" (6.482 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T9).
