Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX, Gordon Ramsay Lead Demo Race

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/20/18):

FOX (3.523 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) retained the top demo spot on Wednesday with fresh installments from "MasterChef" (3.575 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) and "Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell & Back" (3.472 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1).

CBS (4.534 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T2) then was the most-watched network with repeats of "NCIS: Los Angeles" (4.276 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) and "SEAL Team" (3.720 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) plus a new "Code Black" (5.606 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3).

Next up was ABC (2.389 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T2) and its repeat lineup of "The Goldbergs" (3.097 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4), another "The Goldbergs" (2.459 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4), "Modern Family" (2.272 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4), another "American Housewife" (2.072 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) and "Shark Tank" (2.217 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7).

Meanwhile, NBC (2.383 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T2) opted for encores of "World of Dance" (2.854 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7), another "World of Dance" (2.541 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) and a new "Reverie" (1.754 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #13).

And finally, a repeat "Supergirl" (0.638 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.2, #15) and a new "The Originals" (0.751 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14) rounded out the night on The CW (0.694 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/3 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (6/21/17):

FOX (2.715 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #1) inched past the competition on Wednesday with fresh installments from "MasterChef" (3.237 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) and "The F Word with Gordon Ramsay" (2.193 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4).

NBC (4.291 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #2) then was a close second with the premiere of "Little Big Shots: Forever Young" (7.418 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) followed by a new "The Carmichael Show" (3.966 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and repeats of "The Carmichael Show" (2.846 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T8) and "This Is Us" (2.050 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.4, #14).
