Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "America's Got Talent" Return to Top Spots

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/16/19):

NBC (7.922 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) was back on top last night thanks to new episodes of "America's Got Talent" (9.388 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) and "Bring the Funny" (4.989 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2).

ABC (2.506 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #2) then claimed the silver with its special "The Lion King: Can You Feel The Love Tonight with Robin Roberts" (4.032 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) alongside repeats of "Modern Family" (2.350 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T4), "The Goldbergs" (1.722 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T4), another "Modern Family" (1.544 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7) and "Black-ish" (1.354 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9).

Next up was CBS (2.425 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #3) with new episdoes of "Love Island" (2.333 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T4) and "Blood & Treasure" (2.465 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9) plus the special "Man on the Moon" (2.479 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.515 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #4) was back to repeats of "Spin the Wheel" (1.528 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7) and "9-1-1" (1.501 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9).

And finally, the premiere of "Pandora" (0.736 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.1, #14) and a new "The 100" (0.582 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) rounded out the night on The CW (0.659 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5).

NBC (9.454 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) then had to settle for second place with originals from "America's Got Talent" (11.181 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #1) and "World of Dance" (6.000 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3).

Next up was CBS (4.766 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) and its repeat lineup of "NCIS" (5.482 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4), "Bull" (4.403 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (4.415 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T8).
