DESCRIPTION:
(from HGTV's press release, January 2012) HGTV Design Star, with host and mentor David Bromstad, is a once-in-a lifetime opportunity for an aspiring designer to catapult into the big time by winning their own primetime show on HGTV. During season seven of the series, 12 new designer finalists will be put through creative and clever challenges that are unexpected, suspenseful and highly dramatic. In the end of the final winner will be chosen by the design panel headed by Vern Yip, Genevieve Gorder and surprise celebrity guests.
