The mid-30s tend to be a time of nostalgic reflection - so what better way to celebrate this milestone than with a deep-dive, five-part docuseries? Be transported to your childhood (or early adulthood) with an exploration of the network and its many eras - from its beginnings, built on a library of classic animation, to its emergence as a risk-taking, creator-driven home for original storytelling. Charting this evolution from its earliest days through the present, the series will explore how Cartoon Network became more than the sum of its parts - shaped by the artists and storytellers in Burbank who created its groundbreaking series, and the teams in Atlanta who defined its irreverent, genre-breaking voice as a brand. Blending rich archival footage with newly filmed interviews, the docuseries will feature stories and reflections from legends of animation, alongside those whose passion and imagination helped build Cartoon Network into a unique, beloved, and shared space for audiences around the world. |
