Netflix Expands Its Latin America Investments, Announcing New Original Series, "Diablero," Filmed Entirely in Mexico
With 50 new and returning original productions emerging from Latin America through 2018, Netflix is investing in local voices who are expanding the range of stories being created.

DESCRIPTION:
(from Netflix's press release, August 2017) Netflix's latest series out of Mexico, Diablero, is a horror fantasy thriller centered around Father Ramiro Ventura, a fallen priest who finds himself seeking the aid of legendary "diablero" or demon hunter Elvis Infante. With the aid of Nancy Gama, a modern day superhero, this improbable trio sets in motion a series of events that could determine the fate of mankind. Diablero also has a comedic twist and it's based on the book "El Diablo me obligó" by F.G. Haghenbeck. Alongside Cravioto and producing company Morena Films, the writers include Pablo Tebar, Veronica Marza, Gibrán Portela, Luis Gamboa and José Rodríguez. Netflix members everywhere can expect front row seats to this supernatural battle between demons and angels in 2018.
