DESCRIPTION:
(from Amazon's press release, June 2016) On Friday, July 15, new episodes from the second season of Amazon's Emmy Award-nominated original live-action family series Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street are scheduled to debut on Prime Video. Starring Sloane Morgan Siegel as Gortimer, Ashley Boettcher as Mel and Drew Justice as Ranger, the new episodes of Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street continue the trio's adventures, finding Gortimer's mother Claire (Robyn Lively) transformed into a "super mom" after receiving a gift from him, Gortimer stumbling on to an inter-dimensional transporter taking him to his favorite '60s superhero series, and Gortimer on the quest to bring his friends back to normal after they wind up stuck in a 1920s-themed mystery party. The new episodes also mark the end of middle school and a pivotal point in Gortimer's, Mel's and Ranger's friendship, spurred by the news of Gortimer's move away from the safe haven of Normal Street for his mother's new job. They must now think about and consider the reality of exploring life beyond Normal Street. Through it all, the trio learn that it's their sometimes-tested, but rock-solid friendship that will pull them through.
