DESCRIPTION:
(from WE tv's press release, October 2012) WE tv announced today it has greenlit the new original series Obsessed with the Dress, which goes inside the hottest dress shop in the Midwest as owner and former beauty queen Michele Strom dresses demanding clients for their chance at a crown. WE tv has ordered six, hour-long episodes of the series. WE tv also announced the renewal of two popular shows, Kendra on Top (12x30; 2x60) and L.A. Hair (10x60), for second seasons. The three original series will bow on WE tv in 2013. Production begins today on L.A. Hair. Set in The Winning Crown boutique in Omaha, NE, Obsessed with the Dress takes viewers into a world where selecting the ultimate gown can make or break a pageant girl's hopes of clinching the crown. Along the way, shop owner and former pageant winner Michele Strom balances her demanding clientele, and in-store conflicts between her highly competitive staffers. |
