DESCRIPTION:
(from Amazon's press release, July 2026) Two survivors. Two conflicting stories. Only one can be true. When a badly wounded woman is airlifted to safety, she tells police a terrifying story: their group of friends fell under the psychopathic control of a charismatic outsider, leading to manipulation and psychological torture, and death. But just as the case appears closed, an unpredictable twist shatters everything - one of the supposed victims is still alive, and her account of what happened in the wilderness is utterly different. |
