DESCRIPTION:
(from LMN's press release, April 2026) When Andrea Gibbs visits her son, Ethan, at his gorgeous New England college during the fall semester, she's surprised to discover that her son's stutter and lack of confidence are gone, and in their place is an almost masculine bravado. That's because Ethan has been taken under the wing of the wildly popular, psychology professor Alan Jackson, a Jordan Peterson-like figure that has managed to connect with countless young men. But after a friend of Ethan's mysteriously dies at one of Jackson's dinner parties, Ethan's stutter re-emerges, and he becomes plagued by nightmares. Andrea wants him to take a semester off to process his grief, but Professor Jackson says otherwise. Concerned that a dangerous man has his claws in her son, Andrea begins investigating Amy's death and realizes that this isn't the first time a young student has died under Jackson's roof.
