NEW YORK � June 12, 2008 � The season four finale of the No.1 food show on cable, Bravo's Emmy-nominated and James Beard Award-winning "Top Chef" delivered 16 percent more adults 18-49 (2.533 vs. 2.187 million), and 14 percent additional total viewers (3.508 vs. 3.079 million) over season three, to become the most watched cable telecast of the day in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen Media Research. The finale � in which Stephanie Izard became the first woman to win "Top Chef," out-cooking finalists Richard Blais and Lisa Fernandes � was the highest rated "Top Chef" telecast of the season, up 44 percent versus the previous "Top Chef: Chicago" episodes.

Continuing Bravo's hallmark of increasing viewership with each original franchise cycle, "Top Chef: Chicago" became the highest rated "Top Chef" season ever, averaging 1.810 million adults 18-49, a 23 percent increase over season three's 1.477 million adults and a 15 percent increase in total viewers for the series (2.539 million vs. 2.201 million 06/13/07-10/03/07). Bravo's "Top Chef: Chicago" remains the No. 1 food show on cable across all key demographics.

"Top Chef: Chicago" surged online as well, with an increase of 11 percent in total pages views over "Top Chef 3: Miami" (44.7 vs. 40.3 million). Unique visitors to BravoTV.com's "Top Chef" microsite increased 24 percent from the previous cycle with 523,000 average monthly unique visitors (vs. 424,000).

The 16 chef'testants return next week for Bravo's "Top Chef Chicago: Watch What Happens Reunion" hosted by Bravo programming exec Andy Cohen, Wed. June 18 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Cohen talks beef with the chefs and winner Izard and checks in with host Padma Lakshmi, head-judge Tom Colicchio, and judges Gail Simmons and Ted Allen on their thoughts about the season. The "Top Chef: Chicago" 'Fan Favorite' winner will also be announced during the reunion special.

Bravo's docu-drama "Work Out" also posted impressive numbers earlier this week with the third season finale, building its 18-49 viewership by 19 percent (642,000 vs. 540,000) and total viewers by 13 percent (862,000 vs. 760,000) over its second season finale (5/8/07).
