CLIPSTERS) (TBS/WHT; W: David Kohan & Max Mutchnick; D: TBA) - George Wendt and Ashley Tisdale have both landed roles on the comedy pilot, about an eclectic cast of stylists working in a barbershop in the Boston suburb of Worcester, Massachusetts. He'll play Buzzy, "the barbershop's former owner, a nice guy who's always up for a conversation. But he has one tragic flaw: He's an inveterate gambler." Tisdale then is set as play Danni, "a barber at Buzzy's who is one of the guys - but she's still totally sexy without really trying." Ryan Pinkston, Matt Cook and Mike Castle also star. (Deadline.com)
EPIC FUNNIES (NBC, New!) - The Peacock has given a six-episode order to a new family-friendly variety clip show "built around the principles of epic fails and life moments gone wrong." HAND OF GOD (Amazon; W: Ben Watkins; D: Marc Forster) - Maximiliano Hernández has scored a role on the drama pilot, about the powerful Judge Harris Pernell (Ron Perlman), a hard-living, law-bending married man with a high-end call girl on the side who has a religious awakening and starts having visions and hearing voices through his ventilator-bound son that could be God speaking to him. He'll recur as Toby, "the chief of police in San Vicente who often uses his stature to make others uncomfortable." Andre Royo, Alona Tal, Dana Delany, Garret Dillahunt and Julian Morris also star. (THR.com)
YELLOWSTONE (HBO, New!) - Taylor Sheridan ("Sons of Anarchy") has sold a new gritty drama to the pay channel about "one family's violent struggle against encroachment in southwest Montana."
