MIRANDA'S RIGHTS (NBC, New!) - Katie Lovejoy (The Selection) has set up a potential drama at the Peacock about 28-year-old Miranda Coale, "who six years after a sex scandal upended her life, gets a shot at redemption when she's hired by a group of millennials living and lawyering together in a start-up law firm." John Glenn will also executive produce via his Universal Television-based banner. (THR.com)

RED CIRCLE, THE (CBS, New!) - Brandon Webb and John David Mann's best-selling novel, subtitled "My Life in the Navy SEAL Sniper Corps and How I Trained America's Deadliest Marksmen," is being developed as a drama by the Eye. Todd Robinson (Lonely Hearts) will pen the script and executive produce alongside Mark Harmon via his CBS Television Studios-based Wings Productions. (THR.com)

SNOWFALL (FX/FXP; W: Eric Amadio & John Singleton; D: John Singleton) - Jill Scott and Lauren London are the latest to be cast in the pilot, a one-hour drama set against the infancy of the crack cocaine epidemic and its ultimate radical impact on the culture as we know it. The story follows three characters on a violent collision course: Franklin Saint (Damson Idris), young street entrepreneur on a quest for power; Gustavo Zapata (Sergio Peris-Mencheta), a Mexican wrestler turned gangster in search of his American dream; and Logan Miller (Billy Magnussen), a prominent family's "black sheep" desperate to escape his father's shadow. The former will play Sharon "Cissy" Saint, "the no-nonsense mother of Franklin"; while London is set as Louise Saint, "Franklin's party-girl aunt." (THR.com)
