BOB (HEARTS) ABISHOLA/CALL ME KAT (CBS/FOX) - HBO Max has landed streaming rights to both series from Warner Bros. Television. Look for seasons 1-3 of the former on December 9 while seasons 1-2 of the latter are due on December 10. (Deadline.com)
ELIZA STARTS A RUMOR (NBC, New!) - Wendy Straker Hauser has sold a small screen take on Jane L. Rosen's novel to the network, which "will follow a group of women in small-town Hudson Valley who are affected by an anonymous rumor on a mommy blog about an affair." Dana Honor and Liz Astrof are also on board to executive produce for the Universal Television-based Defining Eve Productions with Rosen serving as a consulting producer. (Deadline.com)
GENIUS: MLK/X (Disney+) - The anthology's fourth installment has cast Ron Cephas Jones as Elijah Muhammad, "the leader of the Nation of Islam"; Gary Carr as Clyde X, "an official at Temple Number 7 in Harlem and Elijah Muhammad's trusted confidant"; and Hubert Point-Du Jour as Ralph Abernathy, "a Baptist minister and Civil Rights leader in the sixties," all regulars with Lennie James recurring as Dr. Michael King; LisaGay Hamilton as Alberta King; Ashley Romans as Ella Mae; Donal Logue as Strom Thurmond; and Griffin Matthews as Bayard Rustin. ST. MARKS (CBS, New!) - David Marshall Grant and Megan King Kelly are set to team for a new drama at the Eye in which "a Muslim Chaplain reeling from a crisis of faith and a science-focused elite surgeon lead a team of doctors and hospital chaplains in their attempts to heal the bodies and souls of the people of Minneapolis." Nina Tassler, Denise Di Novi and Joan Boorstein of PatMa Productions will also executive produce for CBS Studios. (Deadline.com)
TULSA KING (Paramount+) - The streamer has ordered a second season of the Sylvester Stallone-led drama just three episodes into its freshman run. (Deadline.com)
ZERO DAY (Netflix, New!) - Robert De Niro is attached to star in and executive produce a limited series at the streamer billed as "a political thriller in which De Niro would play a former U.S. President." Eric Newman and Noah Oppenheim are behind the project with Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Schmidt also contributing to the story. Jonathan Glickman will also executive produce for Panoramic Media and Grand Electric. (Variety.com)
