BAD SURGEON: LOVE UNDER THE KNIFE (Netflix, New!) - The streamer has ordered a three-part documentary series from Nutopia about Paolo Macchiarini, "a disgraced surgeon convicted of gross assault for implanting artificial windpipes in patients who later died." Ben Steele directs the series, due later this year, with Nicola Moody and Jane Root executive producing and David Herman as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
NINE PERFECT STRANGERS (Hulu) - Liv Ullmann, Murray Bartlett, Dolly de Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Aras Aydin are set to star opposite Nicole Kidman in a second season of the series, which is officially moving forward. The new season is "said to be following the general formula of the first installment in a new location, the Swiss Alps." (Deadline.com)
