BACHELORETTE, THE (ABC) - The would-be 22nd installment of the series has been pushed from its usual rollout this summer. Said report affirms the "not been canceled and will likely come back to the Disney-owned network in the future." (Deadline.com, 2/7)
BROTHER FROM ANOTHER MOTHER (Apple TV+) - Emmy winner Holland Taylor will star opposite Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson in the comedy series. She'll play Matthew's mother Ma Mac. Additionally, Jason Winer has been tapped to direct and executive produce the show's debut installment. (Deadline.com, 2/7)
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER (REBOOT SERIES) (Hulu, New!) - The streamer is on track to order a pilot for a revival of the much-ballyhooed series in which Sarah Michelle Gellar will reprise her signature role of Buffy Summers. Director Chloé Zhao and writers Nora and Lilla Zuckerman are behind the project, which is also expected to start a writers' room soon. Gellar will executive produce alongside the trio and original series producers Dolly Parton, Fran Kuzui, Gail Berman and Kaz Kuzui for 20th Television, The Jackal Group, Sandollar, Searchlight Television and Suite B. BURBS, THE (Peacock) - The film-turned-TV series has cast Jack Whitehall, Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch and Kapil Talwalkar. Whitehall and the previously announced Keke Palmer will play a young couple returning to the husband's childhood home. Their world is upended when new neighbors move in next door, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood. No other character details were given. Additionally, Nzingha Stewart will direct the first episode and serve as an executive producer. (Deadline.com, 2/5)
CHI, THE (Showtime) - The pay channel has commissioned a writers' room for a potential eighth season of the series, in advance of its season seven premiere. (Deadline.com, 2/5)
CUBE, THE/WIPEOUT (TBS) - The cable channel has pulled the plug on both game shows after two seasons. The latter still has six episodes yet to air. (Deadline.com, 2/3)
DOWNFORCE (Hulu) - The streamer has passed on the comedy pilot, which followed Victoria (Eve Hewson), "the estranged daughter of a storied racing team's owner, Sir Trevor (Murray Bartlett), who is thrust back into the family business, leaving the pair to find common ground or risk destroying the team's legacy." HOLLYWOOD ARTS (Nickelodeon, New!) - Daniella Monet is attached to star in a potential new spin-off series of "Victorious" in which she'll reprise her role as Trina Vega who is "returning to her old stomping grounds as the newest teacher at Hollywood's most elite performing arts school." The multi-camera comedy comes from Jake Farrow and Samantha Martin with Monet also receiving an executive producer credit. "Victorious" creator Dan Schneider is not involved with the project. HOW TO DIE ALONE (Hulu) - The Natasha Rothwell-led comedy series has been canceled after one season. (Variety.com, 2/4)
HYSTERIA! (Peacock) - The streamer has nixed the horror thriller series after one season. (Variety.com, 2/4)
MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN (Paramount+) - The show's fourth season has cast Emmy winner Edie Falco as Nina Hobbs, "Anchor Bay's new prison warden"; BAFTA winner Lennie James as Frank Moses, "a legendary gangster respected in the city of Detroit, the state of Michigan and beyond"; and Tony winner Laura Benanti as Cindy Stephens, "a new correctional officer recruited in Kingstown." NEUROMANCER (Apple TV+) - Mark Strong has been cast in the William Gibson adaptation as Armitage, "Case and Molly's mysterious employer." (Deadline.com, 2/4)
PONIES (Peacock) - The Emilia Clarke/Haley Lu Richardson-led drama series has cast Adrian Lester as Dane, "the head of the CIA Moscow station"; Artjom Gilz as Andrei, who "may be the most intimidating and dangerous KGB officer in Moscow"; Nicholas Podany as Ray, "an earnest, midlevel CIA analyst"; Petro Ninovskyi as Sasha, "a technician for top-secret Soviet technology"; and Vic Michaelis as Cheryl, "a type-A queen bee of the embassy wives, Cheryl also rules the roost as the office manager." PRADEEPS OF PITTSBURGH, THE (Amazon) - The comedy series has been axed after one season. (Deadline.com, 2/7)
RESCUE: HI-SURF (FOX) - Olivia Culpo will guest star on the show's February 10 episode in which "life will intimate art as Culpo tries to capture content after a literal minefield is discovered on the ocean floor." (Deadline.com, 2/3)
SPIDER-NOIR (MGM+) - Amy Aquino and Andrew Robinson are the latest to score top secret roles on the Marvel Comics adaptation. (Deadline.com, 2/5)
STAGS (Paramount+) - The six-episode first season of the U.K. series will makes its U.S. premiere on February 11 through the PlayStation Plus service. Said run, produced by sibling Sony Pictures Television's Eleven Film, will be available through March 24. (Variety.com, 2/4)
STAR CITY (Apple TV+) - Rhys Ifans and Anna Maxwell Martin are the first to be cast in the "For All Mankind" spin-off series, which will tell its alternative history story from the Soviet Union's point of view. He'll play the Chief Designer, "the driving force behind the Soviet Space program"; while she's set as Lyudmilla, "the head of the KGB surveillance department at Star City." (Deadline.com, 2/6)
VISION QUEST (Disney+) - Ruaridh Mollica has been cast as Tucker in the Marvel Studios series. No other details about his character were given. (Deadline.com, 2/6)
