12 12 12 (Apple TV+) - Agathe Rousselle and Sallie Harmsen have both landed unspecified roles on the heist series. (Deadline.com, 5/15)
ACCUSED/ALERT: MISSING PERSONS UNIT/CLEANING LADY, THE/GREAT NORTH, THE (FOX) - The four aforementioned series remain under consideration by the network despite being absent from their 2025-26 schedule announced this week. "Accused" has the most amorphous future of the quartet with FOX president Michael Thorn saying, "We love the show and Howard Gordon. As you know, it's anthological, which means it doesn't have the same timetable on renewals as shows that have locked casts." Adding, "And so right now, we're talking with Howard if there's an opportunity down the line to eventize a return, something that can really work for us and Howard, we'd love to do it. Right now. there's no plan but there could be down the line." (Deadline.com, 5/12)
AMERICAN LOVE STORY (FX) - Naomi Watts will play Jackie Kennedy while Paul Kelly is set JFK Jr. in the Ryan Murphy's upcoming series. They join the previously announced Sarah Pidgeon as Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. (Variety.com, 5/13)
BONDSMAN, THE (Amazon) - The streamer has canceled the Kevin Bacon-led series after one season. (Deadline.com, 5/16)
BOSTON BLUE (CBS) - Ernie Hudson has joined the cast of the "Blue Bloods" spin-off as "the Silver family patriarch, Reverend Peters, a renowned pastor of an historic Baptist church in Boston. An open-minded, welcoming man that is comfortable in all traditions, he is happy to preside at his church's traditional Sunday Baptist service. Reverend Peters is the father of Mae Silver, Boston's District Attorney, and grandfather of Det. Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green), Superintendent Ashley Silver, and rookie patrol cop, Isaac Silver." Additionally, Anthony Hemingway has signed on to direct and executive produce the debut installment. (Deadline.com, 5/16)
BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER (REBOOT SERIES) (Hulu) - Ryan Kiera Armstrong will star opposite Sarah Michelle Gellar in the proposed revival as the new slayer. No other specifics were given other than her character was "described in casting materials as an introverted high-school student." (Deadline.com, 5/15)
CAPE FEAR (Apple TV+) - Lily Collias, Joe Anders and Malia Pyles will round out the cast of the film-turned-TV series. No details were given about their roles. (Deadline.com, 5/12)
DIFFERENT WORLD SEQUEL SERIES, A (Netflix) - The comedy pilot has cast Chibuikem Uche as Kojo, Maleah Joi Moon as Deborah, Cornell Young IV as Shaquille, Jordan Aaron Hall as Amir, Alijah Kai as Rashida, and Kennedi McClure as Hazel. No other character details were given about the project, which "will chronicle Dwayne and Whitley's daughter's time at an HBCU." Debbie Allen is directing from a script by Felicia Pride with Mandy Summers, Tom Werner, Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Bythewood also executive producing. (Deadline.com, 5/16)

KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS, A (HBO) - Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content, has revealed the latest "Game of Thrones" spin-off series has been pushed from a late 2025 premiere to the top of 2026. (Deadline.com, 5/14)
LAW & ORDER: SVU (NBC) - Kelli Giddish's Amanda Rollins will return as a regular for the series' upcoming 27th season. Giddish departed the series in season 24 but continued to recur. Additionally, writer Julie Martin and director Norberto Barba have confirmed their departures as executive producers of the series. Barba however is expected to continue to direct on the show. LOL: LAST ONE LAUGHING UK (Amazon) - The streamer has commissioned a second season of the UK-based edition, hosted by Jimmy Carr. (Deadline.com, 5/15)
MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN (Paramount+) - Derek Rivera has been cast in the upcoming fourth season as Cortez, "a young, cold, and measured Colombian Sicario in a recurring role." (Deadline.com, 5/13)
SHERIFF COUNTRY (CBS) - Amanda Arcuri and Caroline Rhea will both recur on the "Fire Country" spin-off series. Arcuri will play Skye, "who is smart but troubled, and the daughter of Sheriff Mickey Fox and her ex-husband, Travis Fraley (Christopher Gorham). Four months sober, she's drawn to a boyfriend who endangers her recovery. Sensitive yet self-sabotaging, she's fighting to rebuild her life." And Rhea is Gina, "who is deadpan and efficient. She is Sheriff Mickey Fox's assistant and the face of the Edgewater County Sheriff's Office. A lifelong local with a colorful past, she's one of the few who can speak truth to Mickey." TOMB RAIDER (Amazon) - Producer Story Kitchen, formerly dj2 Entertainment, has renewed its first-look television deal at Amazon MGM Studios. (Variety.com, 5/16)
UNTITLED MADONNA PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - A limited series about the life and music of Madonna is in early development at the streamer. Madonna herself and Shawn Levy are attached to executive produce the project via the latter's 21 Laps banner. No other specifics were given. (Deadline.com, 5/12)
UNTITLED NEWFOUNDLAND PROJECT (Netflix) - Helen Shaver, Stephen Dunn and Jamie Childs have been tapped to direct the six-episode limited series. Childs will also executive produce alongside Jesse McKeown, Christ Hatcher and Sharon Hall. (Deadline.com, 5/15)
