(Deadline.com, 3/5)
EINSTEIN (CBS) - Melissa Fumero will star opposite Matthew Gray Gubler in the upcoming drama as Teri, "a Detective Inspector for the New Jersey State Police. Sharp and disciplined, Teri demands a lot from her colleagues and even more from herself, and feels conflicted about working with Professor Einstein." She replaces Rosa Salazar, who bowed out from the series last year after the network opted to push it until the 2026-27 season. (Deadline.com, 3/5)

(Deadline.com, 3/4)

KIDS FROM S.I.P.P.Y., THE (Hulu, New!) - Branson Reese and Nicole Silverberg are developing an animated action comedy series at the streamer: "Hailing from studio 20th Television Animation, the show centers on three nerdy misfit high school freshmen who are recruited for an elite secret spy school." NEW GOTHIC, THE (AMC, New!) - Hilarie Burton Morgan and Nick Gray have sold a new drama to the network: "Per its logline, The New Gothic redefines the legendary storytelling of the American South as it follows the collision of the enterprising Bloom family with the resurrected Mississippi Mafia. Set in a landscape stained by red clay and bad blood, villainy is commonplace. But power is singular." Mischief Farm's Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Authentic Management Productions' Liz DeCesare will also presumably executive produce. (Deadline.com, 3/5)
NEXT DOOR (Netflix, New!) - Tessa Thompson is attached to star in a new drama at the streamer billed as "a dark comedic thriller about marriage and paranoia in the modern American suburbs, inspired by movies in the vein of Little Children and Rear Window." Writer/director Sam Boyd is behind the project "with a writers' room currently being staffed." Thompson, Kishori Rajan, and Joe Hipps will also executive produce for Viva Maude, Hipps of Cut To, and A24. (Deadline.com, 3/2)

And Elmore plays Angela, "who runs Atlanta P.D.'s Major Crimes Section and is raising three kids - two roles she's cursed to love in equal measure." (Deadline.com, 3/4)
ROCKFORD FILES, THE (NBC) - Jacki Weaver has signed onto the reboot series pilot as "Rockford's longtime trailer park neighbor; she's a tough, outspoken activist and think-tank analyst." (Deadline.com, 3/5)

STRUWWELPETER (HBO Max) - Lisa Vicari will topline the upcoming German drama from Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar. (Variety.com, 3/5)
SULLIVAN'S CROSSING (The CW) - Scott Patterson has confirmed his exit from the series prior to its upcoming fourth season. "I fell in love with Sully and have nothing but fondness for him," he told the publication. "The creative differences were becoming untenable and I just sadly realized that the show was not something that I could agree to continue." (Deadline.com, 3/5)
TED (Peacock) - Seth MacFarlane has indicated there is "no plan" for a third season of the series. "What I kept hearing [from Peacock and Universal] was, 'Listen, the show is really expensive to produce and there's no way to do it at a lower cost,'" he told the publication. "So I said, 'All right, I hear you loud and clear.' So I wrote the last scene with Max [Burkholder] walking into a gym, presumably coming out as Mark Wahlberg in the first Ted film." (TheWrap.com, 3/6)
TILLBROOKS, THE (A.K.A. REGENCY) (CBS) - Shiv Pai has been added to the comedy pilot as Henry, "the head groundskeeper of Hartford Park, who is kind, charming, and knowledgeable about plants. A down-to-earth, sensible young man, Henry takes pride in his job and works hard to look after his numerous brothers and sisters." (Deadline.com, 3/4)
UNTITLED DEAN GEORGARIS/JOHN FOX DRAMA (NBC) - Jon Beavers is set to star opposite Emily Deschanel in the drama pilot as Will Andover, "who was the top profiler in his class at Quantico, but then he had a fall from grace. Now at a crossroads in his career, he desperately needs a win." Additionally, Jennifer Morrison has been confirmed to direct. (Deadline.com, 3/3)
