NEW JERSEY'S NICOLE CUTRUFELLO TAKES HOME THE $77,000 JACKPOT ON THE WB'S "STUDIO 7"

Burbank, CA - August 27, 2004

NEW JERSEY'S NICOLE CUTRUFELLO TAKES HOME THE $77,000 JACKPOT ON THE WB'S "STUDIO 7"

NEXT WEEK ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2 (9:00-10:00 P.M ET), THE FINALE EPISODE OF "STUDIO 7" UNITES THE PREVIOUS SEVEN WINNERS FOR THE CHANCE AT THE GRAND PRIZE OF $777,000

In a surprise ending, 22-year-old Nicole Cutrufello (Roselle Park, NJ), the "blonde" underdog, shocked everyone and proved she wasn't so "blonde" after all when she beat out competitor Jonathan Gabrus (Wantagh, NY) and won the $77,000 prize. Nicole, who was left wearing her silver ring, never needed to ask her fellow competitors for help answering a question. Nicole is a 2004 graduate of Kean University with a degree in English.

STUDIO 7 is the new game show from Michael Davies ("Who Wants To Be A Millionaire") that pits seven intelligent young people against each other in a game that tests the depth of their contemporary knowledge as well as their powers of memorization and recall.

Over the course of seven weeks, seven new sets of contestants moved into a NYC apartment and lived together for four days to study, get to know one another and form relationships. After a week of preparing and strategizing, they were brought into STUDIO 7 to try to beat each other at an intense quiz show. Each week, one player was left standing with $77,000.

In next week's finale episode, the seven winners are brought back to live together in the apartment and prepare for an intense final game where someone will walk away with the grand prize of $777,000 and the bragging rights to being the first-ever STUDIO 7 champion.

STUDIO 7 is from Diplomatic and executive producer Michael Davies and co-executive producer Jen Kelly. The show is directed by Mark Gentile ("Who Wants To Be A Millionaire"), who also serves as a producer.

Thursday, September 2 - FINALE Contestants:

Amadou Doumbia (age 18, from NY)
Craig Phillips (age 22, from LA)
George Jarroush (age 21, from Butler, NJ)
Sheila Shaigany (age 21, from Bethesda, MD)
J.C. Cary (age 22, Washington D.C.)
