FOX ORDERS FULL SEASONS OF THE HIT SERIES "BONES" AND "THE WAR AT HOME"

FOX has ordered full seasons of two new hit series, BONES and THE WAR AT HOME, it was announced today by Peter Liguori, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

A darkly amusing investigative drama inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and best-selling novelist Kathy Reichs, BONES centers on a highly skilled forensic anthropologist, Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), who assists with murder investigations when clues must be gleaned from the victim's bones. Brennan often clashes personally and professionally with FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz), but so far the chemistry between them has only played out in a fictionalized account in Brennan's latest mystery novel.

Since its premiere, BONES ranks No. 1 in the Tuesday 8-9 PM time period among key demos, including Adults 18-49, Men 18-49, Men 18-34 and Male Teens 12-17. The series premiere of BONES on Sept. 13 was FOX's highest-rated primetime Tuesday-night drama series premiere in nearly four years among Adults 18-49 (3.9/11) and Total Viewers (10.8 million) - since "24" premiered on Nov. 6, 2001.

THE WAR AT HOME is an irreverent half-hour comedy starring Michael Rapaport and Anita Barone as a husband and wife who constantly battle with their three teenage kids to keep them in line. The series goes inside the heads of this modern family through the use of a confessional space where characters reveal everything they could never actually say to one another - as they do their best to win THE WAR AT HOME.

In its competitive Sunday 8:30 PM time period, THE WAR AT HOME ranks No. 1 among Adults 18-34, Teens, Men 18-49, Men 18-34 and Male Teens. THE WAR AT HOME is the No. 1 new show of the season among Teens and the No. 2 new sitcom among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 (tie).

BONES is from Josephson Entertainment and Far Field Productions in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Barry Josephson and Hart Hanson are executive producers.

From ACME Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television Production Inc., THE WAR AT HOME is executive-produced by Mindy Schultheis, Michael Hanel and Rob Lotterstein.
