Network Delivers Highest Month Ever in July, Breaking into Top 5 Ratings Success Continues on the Brink of the Channel�s 5-Year Anniversary

Original Movies Lead Network to Ratings High

On the brink of the network�s 5-year anniversary (August 5), Hallmark Channel delivered its highest-rated month ever in July 2006. For the first time ever, the network has broken into the Top 5 for Prime Time household ratings ranking #4 with a 1.4 rating. The close of the month also marks 60 straight months of year-to-year growth for the channel. The network�s July Original movie premieres, �Desolation Canyon� and �Wild Hearts,� helped it achieve this exemplary performance. For the month, Hallmark Channel also ranked in the Top 10 for Total Day HH ratings (#10), A25-54 ratings (#9), P2+ ratings (#7), and in Prime Time for P2+ ratings (#4).

Known for its family friendly Original movies and well-known talent, in July Hallmark Channel premiered �Desolation Canyon,� starring Stacy Keach and Patrick Duffy, and �Wild Hearts,� starring Richard Thomas and Nancy McKeon. �Desolation Canyon� was the highest-rated ad-supported cable movie of the day on Saturday, July 1 scoring a 2.4 HH rating with nearly 1.8 million homes. �Wild Hearts� was the highestrated ad-supported cable telecast of the day on Saturday, July 8, and the highest-rated ad-supported cable movie for the week of 7/3-7/10/06, delivering a 2.8 HH rating with over 2 million homes.
