What Would be the Most Horrific, Shocking, Frightening Movie Scene of all Time?

Elizabeth Hasselback Fighting Rosie O'Donnell To The Death!, According to the Latest AMC Monsterfest X/Harris Poll

AMC's Monsterfest X, The 10th Anniversary of the Network'S 10-Day Fright-Fest of Non-Stop Scary Movies, Airs from October 22-31

New York, NY, October 23, 2006 - Americans just want to see Paris Hilton scream, according to a recent Harris Interactive poll commissioned by the cable network AMC. The remarkable heiress/thespian/singing sensation has earned yet another accolade, ranking number one as the celebrity audiences most enjoy seeing as a horror film victim! And if you are looking for America's point of view about the two celebrities they would most like to see battle it out in a "death match," the answer isn't Freddy vs. Jason - the winning twosome are The View's Rosie O'Donnell vs. Elizabeth Hasselback.

The poll was conducted in conjunction with the celebration of AMC's MonsterFest X, the 10th anniversary of the network's 10-day fright-fest of non-stop scary movies, airing from October 22-31.

With Halloween fast approaching, nearly 2500 respondents were asked what was hot and what was not when it comes to satisfying their ultimate horror cravings. Asked which celebrity they would most like to see in the role of horror film victim, the spine-chilling Hilton topped off with a whopping 39% of the vote, almost double that of her closest rival in the category, Lindsay Lohan (18%). American Idol's dastardly judge Simon Cowell, Mr. Britney Spears aka menacing rapper Kevin Federline and gruesome actress Tara Reid round out the top five. Hilton's film House of Wax wasn't able to top the anti-classic Leprechaun 2 as the worst horror movie of all time. The Exorcist was voted the best horror movie franchise of all time, while the shower scene in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho was considered the scariest moment ever in a film Ten percent of Americans also noted they would rather have a good scare rather than good sex on Halloween.
