NBC RATINGS RESULTS FOR THE WEEK OF MARCH 19-25

BURBANK, Calif. � March 27, 2007 � NBC averaged a 2.3 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49 and 7.4 million viewers overall for the week of March 19-25, according to "live plus same day" in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Averages for the week of March 19-25 in adults 18-49 were Fox (4.4/12), CBS (3.5/10), ABC (3.1/9), NBC (2.3/6), Univision (1.5/4), CW (1.3/4) and Telemundo (0.4/1). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (11.4 million), Fox (11.2 million), ABC (9.0 million), NBC (7.4 million), Univision (3.6 million), CW (3.1 million) and Telemundo (0.9 million).

In regular program averages through the first 27 weeks of the 2006-07 season, NBC is up 3 percent versus last year in regular-program adult 18-49 averages (3.4 vs. 3.3), the only network showing growth in regular program averages.

NBC highlights for the week of March 19-25:

* On Monday, a two-hour "Deal or No Deal" grew by 43 percent in 18-49 rating and by more than 3.1 million total viewers from its first to its final half-hour, despite atypically strong competition from the two-hour premiere of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." "Deal" was a strong #2 in adults 18-49, total viewers and other measures, behind only "Dancing."

* In the weekly rankings, Monday's "Deal or No Deal" ranked #9 in total viewers and #10 in adults 18-49 out of a total 100 programs this week.

* On Thursday, the second original telecast of "Raines" increased by 19 percent in 18-49 rating and by 63 percent in total viewers (more than 3.3 million) versus its lead-in. "Raines" built by 17 percent in 18-49 rating from its first half-hour to its second.

* On Friday, "Miss USA 2007" delivered the night's biggest audiences among women 18-49 and 18-34 and was the #1 non-sports telecast in its time period in adults 18-49 and total viewers. "Miss USA" grew by 30 percent in 18-49 rating and by 28 percent in overall viewers from its first to its final half-hour. NBC won Friday night among women 18-49 and 18-34.

* On Sunday, the finale of "Grease: You're the One That I Want" matched the show's highest 18-49 rating since January 28 and attracted its highest viewership since that same date.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

Additional NBC highlights for the week of March 19-25:

On Monday, March 19, from 8-10 p.m. ET, a two-hour edition of "Deal or No Deal" (4.3 rating, 11 share in adults 18-49, 14.7 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures, behind only ABC's two-hour premiere of "Dancing With the Stars." From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Deal" grew by 43 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 5.0/12 from a 3.5/10) and by more than 3.1 million overall viewers (to 15.6 million from 12.5 million).

Monday from 10-11 p.m. ET, "The Black Donnellys" averaged a 2.3/6 in 18-49 and 5.5 million viewers overall.

On Tuesday, March 20 at 8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall) increased its 18-49 rating by 18 percent from its first half-hour to its second (to a 2.0 vs. from a 1.7). At 9 p.m., an encore "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" averaged a 1.7/4 in 18-49 and 6.4 million viewers overall. From 10-11 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (2.5/7 in 18-49, 7.5 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 47 percent in18-49, despite competition from an encore "CSI" on CBS.

On Wednesday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET, "Friday Night Lights" averaged a 1.8/5 in 18-49 and 5.4 million viewers overall opposite atypical competition from CBS' "Survivor" in this Wednesday time period. At 9 p.m., "Crossing Jordan" (1.7/4 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall) increased by 27 percent in 18-49 rating from its first to its second half-hour. At 10 p.m., an encore telecast of "Medium" averaged a 1.8/5 in 18-49 and 5.9 million viewers overall.

On Thursday, March 22 from 8-9 p.m. ET, a one-hour encore telecast of "My Name is Earl" (2.5/8 in 18-49, 6.7 million viewers overall), featuring never-seen-before outtakes, improved by 14 percent on "Earl's" prior rating for a rebroadcast (2.2/6 from 8-8:30 on March 8).

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, "Scrubs" averaged a 2.8/7 in 18-49 and 6.4 million viewers overall. From 9:31-10:01 p.m., "Andy Barker, P.I." delivered a 2.1/5 in 18-49 and 5.3 million viewers overall.

From 10:01-11 p.m. ET Thursday, a special telecast of "Raines" (2.5/7 in adults 18-49, 8.7 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 19 percent in 18-49 and 63 percent in total viewers. "Raines" grew from its first half-hour to its second in both 18-49 (up 4 percent) and in total viewers (up 6 percent).

On Friday, March 23 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Identity" (1.9/7 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall) increased by 24 percent in 18-49 rating from its first to its second half-hour (to a 2.1/7 from a 1.7/6).

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Miss USA 2007" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall) delivered the night's biggest audiences among women 18-49 and 18-34. In its time period, "Miss USA 2007" was the #1 non-sports choice in adults 18-49 and total viewers and finished #1 overall among key adult-female demographics. "Miss USA" increased by 30 percent in 18-49 rating and by 28 percent in overall total viewership from its first half-hour to its fourth (to a 2.6/8 from a 2.0/6 in 18-49 and to 8.5 million viewers from 6.6 million viewers).

On Saturday, March 24 at 8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) delivered its highest 18-49 rating in this time period in four week and its highest overall viewership in the slot since February 10. At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Law & Order" averaged a 1.6/5 in 18-49 and 6.9 million viewers overall.

Saturday at 10 p.m. ET, an encore "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2.0/6 in 18-49, 7.5 million viewers overall) matched NBC's highest non-sport 18-49 rating in this time period since November 25 and delivered the networks' biggest overall audience in the slot since November 11. CI was up 33 percent in 18-49 rating versus NBC's rating in this slot on the same night last year (1.5/5).

On Sunday, March 25 from 7-8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 1.2/4 in 18-49 and 4.9 million viewers overall.

Sunday at 8 p.m. ET, the finale of "Grease: You're the One That I Want" (2.0/5 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall) matched its highest 18-49 rating and attracted its biggest overall audience since January 28. "Grease" built on its 18-49 lead-in by 67 percent.

From its first half-hour to its second, the "Grease" finale increased by 35 percent in 18-49 rating and by 32 percent in overall total viewers, from a 1.7/5 in 18-49 and 6.0 million viewers for its opening half-hour to a 2.3/6 in 18-49 and 7.9 million viewers for its final half-hour.

At 9 p.m. ET Sunday, an encore telecast of "Deal or No Deal" (2.7/7 in 18-49, 9.7 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 35 percent in 18-49 rating. From its first to its second half-hour, "Deal" grew by 35 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 3.1/7 from a 2.3/6). In total viewers, "Deal" increased from half-hour to half-hour by 22 percent viewers (to 10.6 million from 8.7 million).

Sunday at 10 p.m. ET, "The Apprentice" (2.7/7 in 18-49, 6.8 million viewers overall) retained 100 percent of its "Deal" lead-in among adults 18-49 from the previous hour to rank #2 in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures.
