Sci Fi Channel Scores 7 Emmy Noms Including Writing & Directing Nods for 'Battlestar Galactica'
The cable channel also received two nods for last December's "the Lost Room" mini-series as well as the first nomination for its top-rated original series "Eureka."

NEW YORK � July 19, 2007 � The Academy of Television & Arts Sciences recognized SCI FI for its breadth of outstanding programming with seven Emmy nominations. The impressive haul includes four nods for critical and fan favorite Battlestar Galactica including nominations for Outstanding Writing and Directing for a Drama Series, two for last December's acclaimed Lost Room miniseries, and the first nomination for the Channel's top-rated original series Eureka.
