RACHEL BILSON ('THE O.C.') TO GUEST-STAR AS POTENTIAL LOVE INTEREST IN MULTI-EPISODE ARC ON NBC'S NEW ACTION-COMEDY SERIES 'CHUCK'

BURBANK, Calif. September 13, 2007 Rachel Bilson ("The O.C.," "The Last Kiss") will guest-star as a potential love interest on NBC's new action-comedy "Chuck" (Mondays, 8-9 p.m. ET) in a multi-episode arc scheduled for broadcast in late October.

In the action-comedy, Bilson will play a romantic possibility for Chuck (title star Zachary Levi), the first since his college girlfriend broke his heart a few years ago. Like all people in Chuck's new, spy infested world, she may not turn out to be so perfect -- or even who she says she is.

Said Josh Schwartz, the series' co-creator and executive producer: "Rachel's been traveling all over the world shooting a big Doug Liman action-movie 'Jumper,' and she was going to be in Los Angeles for a little while. We were talking and thought it would be fun to work together again, even for a few weeks. Having worked with her for four years, I know how funny Rachel is and what a good match she'd make for the show, and for Zach Levi. For a first-year series, it's really hard to get big name guest stars, so we're all really excited and grateful that she could do this."

Bilson is enjoying a successful acting career in television and feature films. She was a series regular on the popular drama "The O.C." for four seasons. Recently, she could be seen in the Paramount Film "The Last Kiss," opposite Zach Braff (NBC's "Scrubs") and directed by Tony Goldwyn. She recently wrapped playing the female lead in the trilogy "Jumper," opposite Hayden Christensen for 20th Century Fox Studios.

Co-created and written by Josh Schwartz ("The O.C., "Gossip Girl") and Chris Fedak, "Chuck" is executive-produced by Schwartz and McG ("Charlie's Angels," "We Are Marshall"), "Chuck" is produced by College Hill Pictures, Wonderland Sound and Vision, in association with Warner Bros. Television.
