BRAVO & NBC SPORTS TEAM UP TO PRESENT 'FOOTBALL FOODIES'

Bravo Celebrities Provide Recipes & Festive Ideas For "Sunday Night Football" Parties

NEW YORK September 20, 2007 Bravo and NBC Sports have teamed up to present "Football Foodies," a blog on www.bravotv.com, featuring recipes created specifically for each "Sunday Night Football" match-up by "Top Chef" contestants. "Sunday Night Football" parties can kick-off with recipes created by experts that include guilty game-time favorites, healthy alternatives, family favorites, regional cuisine and upscale snacks. In addition to planning your party menu, Bravo's fashion and party experts from "Project Runway" will contribute various Sunday Night party suggestions such as decorating tips, beer and wine selections, appropriate Sunday Night party attire, and even suggest the proper cheese (if any) to serve for the big game.

To give viewers a full week to prepare for the big game, each Monday, two new recipes specific to the upcoming Sunday Night game will be added to the "Football Foodies" blog, making it the one-stop site for everything you need to prepare a Sunday Night feast.

FEATURED ON "FOOTBALL FOODIES":

Four "Top Chef" contestants will supply recipes every week. Season Two's Mike Midgley, Josie Smith-Malave and Betty Fraser will be joined by Season Three's Tre Wilcox.

This week on "Football Foodies," Dallas native Wilcox shares two upscale recipes for a fancy football function featuring the Dallas Cowboys at the Chicago Bears. Blogger, writer and Chicago native, Mat Smart, shares his thoughts on the best local sports grub in the Chicago area.

COMING UP ON "FOOTBALL FOODIES":

Sept. 30th (Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants): Former Bravo blogger Rich Rosario will make a guest appearance on the website to discuss the present and future of his favorite team, the New York Giants. Chefs and recipes to be announced.

Oct. 7th (Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers): Renowned "cheese monger" Liam Maloney, will be discussing his favorite cheeses and what's in style in the fromage department in honor of "Sunday Night Football's" trip to Green Bay.

Oct. 14th (New Orleans Saints at Seattle Seahawks): Former Brooklyn coffeehouse manager and current Bravotv.com Writer/Editor Zachary Hug will talk about coffee for the Seattle game.

Oct. 21st (Pittsburgh Steelers at Denver Broncos): Bravo hits the sports bar! A "Bravo-lebrity" (from "Project Runway") will go to a local bar to watch the Sunday Night game and record his/her thoughts on the game of football and the atmosphere at a sports bar.

Featured on "Football Foodies" recently, Chef Fraser contributed festive recipes for the "Sunday Night Football" match up between the San Diego Chargers and the New England Patriots that featured New England clam chowder in "Patriot" blue potato cups and onion rings with roasted corn aioli. Chef Smith-Malave created easy, simple recipes that are ideal for potlucks and a house full of guests with short-rib sloppy joe's and adobo chicken nachos.

In addition to Sunday Night meals, "Football Foodies" features guest bloggers each week talking about food, fashion, football and fiestas. Recent blogs include a photo gallery of "Football Fashion Through the Ages," including Landry's fedora, Namath's fur coats, Unitas' flat top, Chad Johnson's Mohawk and Brian Bosworth's shades; and LA-based writer and one of the best female fantasy football players in the country, Angelina Burnett, offers advice on how to cope with the football season if you are not a fantasy player in "Making Peace with Fantasy Football: A Jilted Lovers Guide."
