CAN YOU HANDLE MORE TRUTH?

FOX ORDERS 13 ADDITIONAL EPISODES OF NO. 1 NEW SHOW OF THE SEASON "THE MOMENT OF TRUTH"

FOX has ordered an additional 13 episodes of THE MOMENT OF TRUTH, the No. 1 new show of the season. Hosted by Mark L. Walberg, THE MOMENT OF TRUTH airs Wednesdays (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) after AMERICAN IDOL on FOX and will move to its regularly scheduled time period 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT Wednesday, March 5.

THE MOMENT OF TRUTH is the third-highest rated program of the season among adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 (behind only AMERICAN IDOL Tuesday and Wednesday) and is the No. 1 new program of the season among adults 18-49, adults 18-34, teens and total viewers. The series' debut is the highest-rated premiere on any network in almost a year among adults 18-49 and total viewers and in five years among adults 18-34, and displayed the highest retention ever for a premiere leading out of AMERICAN IDOL showing 94% retention among adults 18-49.

THE MOMENT OF TRUTH puts participants to the test the lie detector test to reveal whether or not they are telling the truth for a chance to win half a million dollars. Players who answer 21 increasingly personal questions honestly, as determined by a polygraph, can win up to $500,000. Prior to playing, participants are strapped to a lie detector and asked a series of questions by a polygraph expert who records their answers.

To win $500,000 participants simply have to tell the truth. Of course, the questions are easier when the stakes are low but as the prize amount increases, they will be challenged to fess up to matters they might normally lie about. The touchier questions could be especially revealing because participants reveal their answers in front of spouses, relatives and friends who are hanging on every word. What deep dark secret will someone divulge for hundreds of thousands of dollars?

The show is produced by Lighthearted Entertainment Inc. Howard Schultz serves as creator/executive producer. Michael Maddocks serves as co-executive producer.
