NEW YORK - February 28, 2008 - NBC Universal's award-winning public service campaign, "The More You Know," kicks off its 19th season on Saturday, March 1 during Law & Order: CI at 8pm ET. This season marks a major departure in both style and format, showcasing a new creative animated design, with an expanded commitment to environmental awareness. NBC stars participating in this year's campaign are: Noah Gray-Cabey, Greg Grunberg, Ali Larter, Masi Oka, Adrian Pasdar, and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes); Jaime Pressly (My Name is Earl); Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni (Law and Order: SVU); Jerome Bettis and Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports); Linda Cardellini (ER); Josh Duhamel, Molly Sims and James Lesure (Las Vegas); Jesse Martin and Jeremy Sisto (Law & Order); Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke (Scrubs); and Ann Curry and Tiki Barber (NBC News). This year, "The More You Know" family has expanded to include top cable talent: Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice, USA), Tim Gunn (Project Runway and Guide To Style, Bravo), Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica, SciFi) and Mar�a Celeste (Al Rojo Vivo con Mar�a Celeste, Telemundo).

This year's "The More You Know" campaign urges viewers to think and act green. The public service announcements provide viewers with helpful tips and empower them to make a difference, as part of NBC Universal's ongoing "Green Is Universal" initiative. The campaign focuses on environmental issues including pollution, global warming and recycling. In addition to eco-awareness, the campaign continues to address important issues such as diversity, drinking and driving and Internet safety.

"The More You Know" is fortunate to have support from returning stars, as well as "first timers," such as Noah Gray-Cabey, Greg Grunberg, Ali Larter, Masi Oka, Adrian Pasdar and Sendhil Ramamurthy from the cast of Heroes. This season also marks the first time the campaign has expanded its reach to include talent from USA, Bravo, SciFi and Telemundo.

In connection with "The More You Know," NBC Universal works closely with a number of non-profit and government agencies, including Environmental Defense, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Anti-Defamation League and U.S. Department of Education.
