NEW YORK, April 4, 2008 -- Emotions heat up on the season finale of the hit series "Rock of Love 2 with Bret Michaels" premiering on Sunday, April 13 at 9:00 PM* as Bret takes the final two girls south of the border to Cancun, Mexico to spend quality, romantic time with each one before making his final choice. Throughout the hour and a half long episode, Bret shows the girls 'nothing but a good time' taking them each on private 24-hour adventures -- from exotic massages and romantic dinners to boating adventures and steamy nightcaps. Back at the house, Bret has to choose one girl to rock his world -- or does he?

Guards come down and gloves come off as the girls open their hearts and fight for their man. One girl will be Bret's 'Rock of Love,' the other will leave heartbroken.

The second season of "Rock of Love" has proven to be another ratings hit out of the gate. The premiere episode on earn a 2.6 in the key P18-49 demo, up +166% from the first season's premiere. The episode was the night's most watched cable program among P18-49 viewers and ranks among VH1's top 10 telecasts in the network's history. The series has averaged an impressive 1.9 P18-49 rating and has attracted 2.7 million total viewers per episode since the premiere. In addition, "Rock of Love 2" has been the #1 original cable series on Sunday during its run.

VH1's "Rock of Love 2 with Bret Michaels" is created and executive produced by Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego for Mindless Entertainment and 51 Pictures, who also produce the record-breaking "Flavor of Love," "I Love New York," "The Surreal Life" and "My Fair Brady." Ben Samek also executive produces for the company. The production teams' programming launched VH1 into their highest ratings ever and their ratings continue to outperform their previous successes.

Jeff Olde, Jill Holmes, Kristen Kelly and Leah Horwitz oversee the series for VH1.
