"Project Runway" And "Shear Genius" Rank No. 1 In Cable In Wed 9-11 PM Time Period Among Adults 18-49

NEW YORK � July 31, 2008 � Bravo's creative competition and docu-series delivered record-breaking ratings again this week with "Flipping Out," "Project Runway," "Shear Genius," and Bravo's new docu-series "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." With "Project Runway" and "Shear Genius," Bravo ranked as the No.1 cable network in the 9-11 p.m. time period among adults 18-49.

The third episode of the fifth season of "Project Runway," on Wednesday night at 9 p.m., sewed up season high ratings with 2.146 million adults 18-49 and 3.287 million total viewers. Versus last week's episode, the series was up 31 percent among adults 18-49 (2.146 vs. 1.636 million), and also up 25 percent among total viewers (3.287 vs. 2.621 million). Compared to last season, "Project Runway" is up 12 percent among adults 18-49 and up 18 percent among total viewers. "Project Runway" also out-delivered ABC in the 9 p.m. hour among adults 18-49.

The second season of Bravo's "Shear Genius" continues its huge ratings upswing, reaching a series high among all key demos with 2.399 million total viewers and 1.490 million adults 18-49 tuning in on Wednesday to see the "Charlie's Angels" reunion with series host Jaclyn Smith and special guest judge Kate Jackson. Versus the prior season, "Shear Genius" is up a whopping 129 percent among total viewers (vs. 1.046 million) and 116 percent among adults 18-49 (vs. 691,000). Versus last week's episode, the show was up a notable 25 percent in adults 18-49 (1.490 vs. 1.193 million) and among total viewers (2.399 vs. 1.912 milllion) and season-to-date is up an explosive 51 percent (990,000 vs. 654,000) and 62 percent (1.593 million vs. 986,000) respectively.

Tuesday night's episode of "Flipping Out" scored a series high of 1.2 million total viewers. This was the second highest episode ever among adults 18-49, delivering 837,000 viewers in the demographic. Through seven episodes, "Flipping Out" is averaging 633,000 adults 18-49 and 903,000 total viewers, up 36 percent and 39 percent respectively versus the prior season.

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" preview special, which aired Wednesday at 12 a.m., garnered an impressive 761,000 total viewers and 545,000 adults 18-49, up 68 percent (vs. 453,000) and 74 percent (vs. 313,000) versus the prior four week time period. The series will premiere on a new date on Tuesday, October 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
