USA Network Acquires Rights to CBS Television Distribution's Csi: Crime Scene Investigation
The cable channel will have non-exclusive rights to seasons 1-10 beginning December 2010.

USA NETWORK ACQUIRES RIGHTS TO CBS TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION'S CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION

NEW YORK, NEW YORK � January 12, 2010 � USA Network has acquired the rights to CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION. The announcement was made today by Jane Blaney, USA's executive vice president, program acquisitions and scheduling.

Under the agreement, USA will have non-exclusive rights to seasons 1-10 beginning December 2010. Starting Fall 2011, USA will also have the exclusive off-network rights to premiere CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION Seasons 11 and beyond. Beginning September 2014, NBCU shall be the exclusive home of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION.

"CSI fits perfectly into our already powerful collection of procedurals, including NCIS, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, HOUSE, LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT and eventually NCIS: LOS ANGELES. CSI, one of only two shows to spawn two successful spin-offs, is an iconic series that reflects USA's commitment to quality storytelling and unique characters."

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION has been one of the most dominant shows on TV for the last decade, averaging 25 million viewers over its first seven seasons. CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION has been a top 10 show for each of its 10 seasons, including six seasons in the top 3 and remains one of the most popular shows on TV with 18MM viewers STD.

CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION is a fast-paced drama about a team of Las Vegas-based forensic investigators trained to solve crimes by examining the evidence. They are on the case 24/7, scouring the scene, collecting the irrefutable evidence and finding the missing pieces that will solve the mystery.
