FOX Goes Long to Score Broadcast's Highest-Rated Week in Two Seasons!

FOX GOES LONG TO SCORE BROADCAST'S HIGHEST-RATED WEEK IN TWO SEASONS!

Impressive performances from AMERICAN IDOL, BONES and the record-breaking NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME brought FOX a dominant 8.8/23 among Adults 18-49, winning the week and marking the highest rated week for any network in the past two broadcast seasons among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Total Viewers. FOX outperformed its combined 4-network competition by +26% and beat nearest competitor (CBS) by a whopping +267%. FOX continues to rank No. 1 for the season with an overall 3.6/10 among Adults 18-49 and a +16% lead over No. 2 CBS.

Monday's second night of the 24 premiere posted a solid 3.5/8 among Adults 18-49 and showed growth throughout the night, with its final half hour outperforming its first half hour by +12% among Adults 18-49 and +8% in Total Viewers.

On Tuesday night, AMERICAN IDOL and a special encore presentation of action-packed HUMAN TARGET brought in strong numbers for the network, leading FOX to win the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Adults 25-54, Total Viewers and key male and female demos.

Week two of AMERICAN IDOL posted an impressive 10.1/27 among Adults 18-49, marking a +11% increase among Adults 18-49 over last year's week two Tuesday telecast.

AMERICAN IDOL outperformed the combined 4-network competition in the 8p hour by a substantial +41% among Adults 18-49, +70% among Adults 18-34, +136% in Teens and +3% in Total Viewers.

The 9pm encore of the HUMAN TARGET preview event showed considerable growth over its preview telecast last Sunday, making gains of +14% among Adults 18-49, +41% among Adults 18-34 and +36% in Teens.

On Wednesday night, AMERICAN IDOL and the series premiere of HUMAN TARGET proved to be a solid combination, winning the night once again among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34/25-54, Teens, Total Viewers and key male and female demos. FOX dominated its closest competitor of the night (CBS) by +106% among Adults 18-49, +162% among Adults 18-34, +309% among Teens and +63% in Total Viewers.

The week two Wednesday performance of AMERICAN IDOL posted a strong 9.9/27 among Adults 18-49, up +1% from last year's equivalent telecast and up +4% in Total Viewers.

AMERICAN IDOL outperformed the combined 4-net competition in the 8p hour by +80% among Adults 18-49, +107% among Adults 18-34, +213% in Teens and +46% in Total Viewers.

HUMAN TARGET delivered a 3.4/9 in the 9pm hour and showed gains over it's Sunday preview, increasing +17% among Adults 18-49, +41% among Adults 18-34, and +4% in Total Viewers.

Thursday night's performances of fan-favorites BONES and FRINGE delivered impressive numbers and contributed to the network's highest rated Thursday night of the season among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Total Viewers (excluding sports).

BONES posted a record-breaking 3.5/10 among Adults 18-49, its highest Thursday rating ever and its highest numbers on any night of the week in over a year.

Thursday night also marked the first time ever that an original episode of BONES has out-performed an original episode of CSI for the night.

FRINGE also brought in a solid rating of 2.6/7 among Adults 18-49.

Sunday night's nail-biter NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME between the New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings delivered an extraordinary 21.3/49 rating among Adults 18-49, and was watched by an astounding 57.9 million viewers, making it the most watched conference championship game in almost 30 years, and the largest audience for such a game ever for FOX. The network won the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34/25-54, Teens, Total Viewers and all key demos. FOX posted its highest rated non-Super Bowl night ever among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers.

BONES posted a 3.5/10 among Adults 18-49, its highest Thursday rating ever and its highest on any night of the week in over a year (since Wed., 11/12/08). BONES also delivered its highest rated Adults 18-34 (2.9/9) in over one year (since 11/12/08) and its highest Total Viewers (12.0) in nearly three years (since 2/14/07).

This is the first time an original BONES has ever out-rated an original CSI for the night, while BONES was also the highest rated procedural of the night, beating both CSI (3.1/8) and The Mentalist (3.1/8) among Adults 18-49.

BONES outperformed last week by +6% among Adults 18-49 (3.5/10 vs. 3.3/10), and it grew over its prior season average by +30% among Adults 18-49 (3.5/10 vs. 2.7/8), +32% among Adults 18-34 (2.9/9 vs. 2.2/7) and +29% in Total Viewers (12.0 vs. 9.3 Mil.)
