THE CW ADDS 'TOP MODEL' ENCORE, BENCHES 'NOW'

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The CW is giving viewers two chances to catch the new season of "America's Next Top Model." Encores of the show's initial Wednesday, 8:00/7:00c broadcast will air on Sundays at 7:00/6:00c starting March 2.

Said repeats will serve as a lead-in to "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Aliens in America," both of which begin airing first-run episodes that same night.

The news means "CW Now," which will have aired on Sundays at 7:00/6:00c for 23 consecutive weeks, will apparently head to hiatus. It's not clear if the series will return once "Model" concludes its run.

To date, "Now" has averaged a paltry 750,000 viewers each week.
