NBC CHOPS "BLOCK" AFTER THREE WEEKS

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has put "The Chopping Block" on... the chopping block.

Scheduling updates released this evening indicate repeats of "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" will assume the show's Wednesday, 8:00/7:00c slot effective immediately.

"Block" was the least-watched program on the night for the second week in a row (save for a repeat of The CW's "90210"), posting a series low 0.9 rating among adults 18-49 on Wednesday.

It's not clear when - or if - the five remaining installments in the competition will be aired.
