MCPHERSON DECLARES "GOODE FAMILY," "SUBURBIA" DEAD
By Brian Ford Sullivan (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- "The Goode Family" and "Surviving Suburbia" aired their season finales last night, airings which will turn out to be their last.

ABC Entertainment President Steve McPherson confirmed both shows won't be back following his network's executive session at the TCA summer press tour this afternoon.

The news shouldn't be a surprise for either series as each was quickly banished to Friday nights following lackluster numbers on Wednesdays earlier this summer.

Look for a complete recap of ABC's executive session later today.
