MTV BUMPS "BAND," "JAZMIN"; BRAVO DELAYS "LAUNCH"
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- MTV has shelved newcomers "Making His Band" and "House of Jazmin" while Bravo is delaying fellow freshman entry "Launch My Line."

The former duo were pulled from their time periods - Mondays at 10:00/9:00c and Tuesdays at 10:30/9:30c, respectively - this week without explanation. Repeats of "Daddy's Girls" (leading out of originals at 10:00/9:00c) will sub in for "Jazmin" until "The City's" return on September 29. "True Life" will likewise assume "Band's" slot on Mondays for the rest of the month. It's not clear if "Gone Too Far," hosted by the late DJ AM, will still roll out on Monday, October 5.

[UPDATE #1: Diddy himself has Tweeted "Band" will return Saturday, September 12 at 9:00/8:00c.]

[UPDATE #2: Back-to-back episodes of "House of Jazmin" are now set for this Saturday, September 5 at 8:00/7:00c.]

Over on Bravo, "Launch My Line" is getting pushed back to an unspecified date. Back in July, the cable channel slated the series for Wednesday, September 16 at 10:00/9:00c. Hosted by Dean and Dan Caten of DSQUARED2, the competition show pairs various non-fashion professionals (architects, stylists, music moguls, etc.) with established fashion designers to help them execute their dream clothing line. No reason was given for the delay.
