LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- CBS is swapping its Sunday dramas "Cold Case" and "Three Rivers" on Sunday, November 22, listings updates from the network confirmed this afternoon.
The one-time-only stunt is designed to see how "Rivers" fares in the 10:00/9:00c hour versus its current 9:00/8:00c home where it faces off against such fare as ABC's "Desperate Housewives" and FOX's "Family Guy."
"Rivers" drew 8.45 million viewers and a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49 last night while "Cold Case" posted 9.24 million viewers and a 2.1 rating among adults 18-49.
Both series will presumably resume their normal time periods on December 6, following their previously announced pre-emptions on November 29 for the Hallmark Hall of Fame presentation of "A Dog Named Christmas."
