LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- TNT is saying goodbye to "Saving Grace" a little earlier than an expected.
Network sources have confirmed to the site exclusively the show's fourth - and final - season will launch on Monday, March 29 at 9:00/8:00c. Back-to-back episodes ("Let's Talk" and "Hear The Birds") will air that night before moving to its regular Monday, 10:00/9:00c time period the following week ("You Can't Save Them All, Grace").
TNT previously indicated the series would return for its swan song this summer.
"Grace's" return however will be short-lived as the network's NBA playoff coverage will sideline the drama beginning April 19. In total the cable channel has nine episodes of "Grace" yet to air.
Meanwhile, "Southland" will wrap its second season on Tuesday, April 6 at 10:00/9:00c. A marathon of its sophomore run - "Phase Three," "Butch and Sundance," "U-Boat," "The Runner," "What Makes Sammy Run?" - will lead into said finale ("Maximum Deployment") beginning at 5:00/4:00c that same night.
