FALLING SKIES (TNT) - Remi Aubuchon ("Caprica") has been tapped as an executive producer for a proposed second season of the yet-to-launch drama. Said hiring comes as the bulk of its freshman staff won't be available for a sophomore run, including "Justified" showrunner Graham Yost. Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank, Steven Spielberg and creator Robert Rodat also serve as executive producers of the series, which launches Sunday, June 19.
ME & LEE (Syfy) - Actor Ryan Reynolds and screenwriter Allan Loeb ("Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps") have formed DarkFire, a 20th Century Fox Television-based TV banner. The duo also spearhead Dark Trick Films (with Jonathon Komack Martin) and Scarlet Fire Entertainment (with Steven Pearl), respectively, where they'll continue their feature work. Together they'll develop new series projects, most likely comedies, for the studio on a first-look basis. Prior to said pact, Reynolds most recently shepherded "Mayors of Casterbridge" at NBC while Loeb is an executive producer on "Me & Lee?," a FOX pilot currently being redeveloped by Syfy.
MI-5 (ABC) - Screenwriter Michael Seitzman ("North Country") has inked a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with ABC Studios. The pact calls for him to continue to develop series projects for the studio. Most recently Seitzman penned a potential domestic take on the U.K. series "MI-5" for ABC and was behind the 2009 pilots "House Rules" at CBS and "Empire State" at ABC.
