AUDRINA (VH1) - The cable channel has reportedly passed on a second season of its Audrina Patridge-led reality series. The show's nine-episode freshman run averaged a modest 610,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating among adults 18-49. Patridge also executive produced the half-hour alongside Dave Fleming, Mark Burnett and Michael Bloom. (THR.com)


BAD DOG (NBC, New!) - "The Big C" creator Darlene Hunt has snagged a script order at the Peacock for a comedy about "a guy who takes his wild and crazy dog to a trainer only to be told the dog is perfect but he's a mess." Said half-hour, from her "Big C" partners Sony Pictures Television and Original Film, is based on Martin Kihn's book of the same name. Neal Moritz and Vivian Cannon then will executive produce alongside Hunt. (Variety.com)


BIG DEAD PLACE (HBO, New!) - James Gandolfini has booked another project at the pay channel, this time a small screen take on Nicholas Johnson's memoir about his stint working for the U.S. Antarctic Program. Peter Gould ("Breaking Bad") is spearheading the potential Gandolfini vehicle, "a tragicomic eye view of the fear and loathing, arrogance and insanity of the people living and working the last untamed frontier on the planet - the research base at McMurdo Station, Antarctica." Gandolfini and Gould will also executive produce alongside Brian Swibel, Mosaic's Jimmy Miller and Gandolfini's managers Nancy Sanders and Mark Armstrong with Sam Hansen serving as a co-executive producer. COSMOS: A SPACE-TIME ODYSSEY (FOX) - David Semel has been tapped as an executive producer on Seth MacFarlane's successor to the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning original series. He'll also direct all 13 episodes of the series as well as the potential IMAX feature component. Allan Butler, Ann Druyan and Mitchell Cannold also serve as executive producers while Neil deGrasse Tyson serves as host. (Deadline.com)


HOW TO LIVE WITH YOUR PARENTS FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE (ABC, New!) - Claudia Lonow ("Accidentally on Purpose") has snagged a put pilot order from the Alphabet for a semi-autobiographical comedy about "a single mom who moves in with her parents to help raise her daughter." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the single-camera half-hour with Imagine Television's Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo executive producing alongside Lonow. PREGNANT IN HEELS (Bravo) - The cable channel is reportedly moving forward with a second season of the Rosie Pope-led reality series. Hud:son Media is behind the project, which averaged just under 600,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating among adults 18-49 during its eight-episode debut season. Danielle King, Gerette Allegra, Megan Estrada and Michael Rourke are the executive producers. (THR.com)


UNTITLED KAL PENN PROJECT (NBC, New!) - Raphael Bob-Waksberg has been tapped to write Kal Penn's workplace comedy for the Peacock. The untitled single-camera project will be set at the United Nations, with Penn playing a key assistant to the U.S. ambassador. The duo will also executive produce alongside American Work's Scot Armstrong and Ravi Nandan as well as Penn's manager Dan Spilo. Universal Media Studios is behind the half-hour, the development deal for which was originally set up prior to the current NBC regime. (Deadline.com)
