CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- With "The Search for the Most Talented Kid in America," NBC said reality contestants can never be too young. Now they can never be too old either.

The Peacock network has greenlighted production on "Second Chance: The Search for America�s Most Talented Senior." The new reality series "will feature seniors from across America competing head-to-head in an overall talent competition, which ranges from song and dance, to the most exceptional novelty acts," according to NBC's press release. The series, from NBC Studios, is produced by Stuart Krasnow ("Dog Eat Dog," "The Weakest Link") and Peter Johansen ("The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn," "The Martin Short Show"), the same pair behind "Most Talented Kid in America."

Prospective contestants can audition in Phoenix on March 11; New York and Memphis on March 12; Las Vegas on March 14; Charlotte and Dallas on March 15; Miami and San Diego on March 19; and Los Angeles and Palm Springs on March 22 (Los Angeles will also have open casting call on March 23).
