Pilot Update: March 28

CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from various wire reports each morning:

HAPPY FAMILY (NBC) - Susan Gibney ("Crossing Jordan") and Hamish Linklater ("Live From Baghdad") have been added to the cast of the Peacock comedy.

HENCH AT HOME (ABC) - Tracy Pollan ("First to Die") will star in hubby Michael J. Fox's ABC project. She'll play Kay Hench in the comedy pilot which stars Craig Bierko as a hockey player who winds up spending more time at home after his career suddenly ends. Also joning the cast as the couple's kids are Molly Ephraim (as Ally), Michael Charles Roman (Jake) and Nicholas Reese Art (Ty). Lyndon Byers has joined as the lead character's best friend.

THE STONES (CBS) - Lindsay Sloane ("Grosse Pointe") will play one of the kids of an on-the-verge divorced couple (Judith Light and Robert Klein) in the CBS comedy pilot.

VIOLENT CRIME (CBS) - Audra McDonald ("Mister Sterling") has taken over for Theresa Randall as the lead in the detective drama while Thomas Carter will take over for Stephen Gyllenhaal as director of the pilot.
