FOX Bumps 'Bernie Mac' Start to November 30

CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX has opted to hold off on launching the third season of "The Bernie Mac Show" until after the November sweeps period. The comedy's new season will now kick off Sunday, November 30 at 8:30/7:30c.
FOX had previously planned to bow "Bernie" on November 9. The network will instead fill the 8:30/7:30c half-hour with repeats of "The Simpsons" until "Bernie" returns at the end of the month.
The news marks the second change for "Bernie" going into its third season. Prior to landing on Sundays, FOX had planned to stick with the series in its previous time slot of Wednesdays at 9:00/8:00c but a shift in its plans for its hit summer drama "The O.C." forced the series into its new post-"Simpsons" home.
