CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC will once again search the country for the funniest people in America as the Peacock announced today casting will begin for a second season of "Last Comic Standing" next week in Los Angeles.
In addition to Los Angeles, talent scouts Bob Read and Ross Mark ("The Tonight Show with Jay Leno") will also hold regional tryouts in New York, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, San Francisco, Nashville and Tampa, Florida between January 13-31. Specific dates, times and locations of each search will be announced over the next week or so.
