'Eden' to Stay on Mondays Through March
By Brian Ford Sullivan (TFC)

CHICAGO (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX will again need an eraser for its previously announced plans, as the network revealed today its new reality series "Forever Eden" will remain on Monday nights at 9:00/8:00c through the end of March.

FOX had previously intended to move the series to Thursdays at 9:00/8:00c beginning March 18 (read the story). "Eden" will instead make the switch on April 1. In its place FOX plans to fill the Thursday, 9:00/8:00c hour with an encore its special "American Idol: Uncut, Uncensored and Untalented" on March 18 and back-to-back repeats of "That '70s Show" ("Magic Bus," "The Acid Queen") on March 25.

It's not clear if the delay on "Eden's" move will derail FOX's plans to debut "The Swan" on Monday, March 29 (read the story).

Meanwhile in other FOX news:

-- The network has confirmed beginning Tuesday, March 30, "24" will air nine new episodes in a row leading up to its season finale on May 25.

-- FOX has also scheduled an all-new installment of "The Bernie Mac Show" for Monday, March 22 at 8:00/7:00c as a special lead in to the network's midseason comedy "Cracking Up." Here's how the network describes the episode, via press release:

Bernie doesnt like it that Bryannas education consists of playing in the sandbox, tag and tiddlywinks, and he begins to question the teaching methods at the Wellington School. So Bernie volunteers as a teachers helper for a week to see for himself. Things go wrong from the start when he demands respect from the kids and asks them to call him Mr. Mac instead of by his first name, as they do with the other adults at the school. When he gets resistance from the kids, the teachers tell Bernie that since he does not respect the Wellington way he must be on his way. He takes Bryanna with him but enrolling her in a new school isnt as easy as it seems. Meanwhile, Wanda thinks she can reason with Vanessa and Jordan and resists using violence against violence to get them to stop fighting, but shes beginning to think its the only thing that will work on the Its Mac-ademic episode of THE BERNIE MAC SHOW Monday, March 22 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (MAC-314) (TV-PG L, V)

Said March 22 installment of "Cracking Up" also features a guest appearance by Tenacious D's Kyle Glass, just one week after fellow band member Jack Black's guest spot on the comedy:

After Ben confronts an intruder in the house, Lesley overreacts and has a panic room constructed to protect the family. Bens plans for a Mexico weekend getaway with Liam and two co-eds may be ruined when Lesley accidentally locks the two of them and the kids in the room and promptly forgets the passcode in the Panic House episode of CRACKING UP airing Monday, March 22 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (CU-106) (TV-PG D, V)
