Hallmark Announces Holiday Movie Quartet
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- While the Hallmark Channel wasn't present at the TCA's summer press tour, the network has nevertheless announced its plans for the upcoming quarter.

Said announcement (via press release) features four brand-new telefilms:

ANGEL IN THE FAMILY (formerly titled HOME FOR CHRISTMAS) - Sisters separated by a lifetime of misunderstanding and a family desperately in need of healing old wounds come together one amazing Christmas in which the impossible happens and makes us all believe that anything is possible. Meredith Baxter, Ronny Cox, Natasha Gregson Wagner and Tracey Needham star. Georg Stanford Brown directs. Saturday, December 18 (9/8c)

A BOYFRIEND FOR CHRISTMAS - When she was 13 years old, Holly Grant asked Santa for a boyfriend. Twenty years later, shes greeted on Christmas morning by a handsome man with a fir tree in tow. Is a friend pulling a prank or is Santa finally fulfilling his promise? As she begins to unravel her boyfriends secrets, time is running out and Holly may lose her chance at true love. Kelli Williams, Patrick Muldoon, Charles Durning and Martin Mull star. Saturday, November 27 (9/8c)

LOVES ENDURING PROMISE - January Jones (American Wedding) stars as 19th century schoolteacher Missie Davis who finds herself at a crossroads, torn between the love of two very different men and forced to choose between two very different futures. Katherine Heigl and Dale Midkiff reprise their roles from Love Comes Softly, based on Janette Okes inspirational bestseller and Hallmark Channels highest-rated Original movie to date. Logan Bartholomew and Mackenzie Astin star in this much-anticipated sequel, directed and co-written by Michael Landon, Jr. Saturday, November 20 (9/8c)

SINGLE SANTA SEEKS... (formerly titled A CHRISTMAS ROMANCE) - Nick is searching for the perfect Mrs. Mrs. Claus, that is! Sure, he may seem like an average Joe. But hes anything but with loads of good humor, a twinkle in his eye, and a magical way with kids. But when this Santa of the new millennium falls for a stressed-out single mom, winning her heart will take a Christmas miracle. Crystal Bernard, Steven Guttenberg, Thomas Calabro and Armin Shimerman star. Saturday December 11 (9/8c)
