SUPERSTAR TIM MCGRAW GOES TO GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN FOR HIS SECOND NBC TELEVISION SPECIAL

BURBANK, Calif. -- August 18, 2004 -- Superstar Tim McGraw will travel to Green Bay, Wisconsin for two concert performances on September 30 and October 1 that will be incorporated into his second NBC special (airdate TBD).

Since his first NBC special, which incorporated footage from his years on tour and a concert performance from his hometown of Start, Louisiana, McGraw has completed his much-anticipated 9th album, "Live Like You Were Dying," which will be released on August 24. His 2002 NBC Concert "Sing Me Home," was viewed by over 10 million fans making it one of the highest rated music specials that year.

Additionally, McGraw will make his major motion picture acting debut with Billy Bob Thornton in Universal Pictures/Imagine Entertainment's upcoming feature film "Friday Night Lights."

McGraw is country music's leading male artist with record sales nearing 30 million worldwide, 23 #1 singles and an arm full of awards including the coveted CMA Entertainer of the Year, a Grammy and a 2004 People's Choice Award. McGraw was also the headline act at the 2003 Nobel Peace Prize Concert in Oslo, Norway.

Tim McGraw and Anthony Eaton are executive producers of this special from Tall Pony Productions. Sherman Halsey will direct.
